Studded tyres in Latvia: when should you choose and use them?
Studded tyres offer their clearest benefit on bare and polished ice. Latvia permits them from 1 October through 30 April inclusive, and every wheel on the vehicle must be studded.
When to change tyres in Latvia?
In Latvia, winter tyres are mandatory from December 1 to March 1. IMPORTANT: Since October 2024, ONLY 3PMSF tyres are accepted – M+S is no longer sufficient!
